Meet the team

“What attracted me to IDR was the variety of work and the fact that no two days are the same. Since joining, I’ve taken on more responsibility, worked across new industries and grown quickly by constantly pushing myself outside my comfort zone.”

What attracted you to IDR?

The multicultural environment. IDR has 8 offices around the world, and I loved the idea of working for a truly global organization. It felt like the perfect next step in my career.

I was also drawn to the chance to work across many different industries – from healthcare and automotive to IT, HR, mining and electrical. The fact that the role is never the same, and that each project brings something new really appealed to me and convinced me to apply.

02

How has your role evolved since you joined IDR?

It has evolved quite significantly since I joined. At the start, I was working on maybe one or two projects a week and delivering around one to three expert profiles. Now, I regularly handle four to five projects per week, and my record is delivering 20–25 profiles in a single week.

I’ve improved a lot in recruiting experts and managing consultations between them and our clients. I’ve also become a key contributor on projects in Mexico and LATAM, where my cultural understanding helps me over-deliver and build strong connections with participants.

03

What’s a project or achievement at IDR that you’re particularly proud of?

I’m especially proud of our recent energy sector project in Mexico, which I worked on. We initially needed 10 very niche experts. At first, I thought it would be quite challenging.

The project launched on a Wednesday, and by Friday I had already recruited around 20–21 people. By the following week, that number had grown to over 40. This meant the client could choose freely from a wide pool of experts.

For me, it was rewarding to give the client the confidence and flexibility to select exactly who they wanted to speak with.

04

What has been your favorite part of working at IDR?

It’s that no two days feel the same. Every project is different and often in an industry I’m not initially familiar with, which pushes me out of my comfort zone and forces me to learn quickly.

I also really value the people and culture. My colleagues, my manager and my supervisor are all very supportive and collaborative. If something goes wrong, the mindset isn’t about blame – it’s about solving the problem and then reflecting on what we can improve next time. That solution-oriented culture makes a huge difference daily.

05

What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining IDR?

I would say that IDR is a great place to work if you want clear career growth, global exposure and meaningful responsibility. From the outset, the career progression path is explained very transparently – you know exactly what you need to do to build a successful career path, which I really appreciate.

You also get to interact with people from different industries and countries every day. If you enjoy speaking with people, learning new things constantly and working in a multicultural environment, IDR is an excellent fit. You’ll gain a lot of knowledge, build a global network and have the chance to develop quickly in your role.
